This policy explains how Career OS handles the information you provide while building resumes, evaluating job opportunities, tracking applications, and publishing a portfolio.
We collect account details, career-profile and resume content, saved job descriptions, application-tracking information, portfolio content, settings, support messages, billing country, subscription state, payment references, and product-usage events.
When enabled, analytics may include device, page, referral, and interaction information. Card details are entered on Paystack’s hosted checkout and are not stored by CareerOS.
Career profile, resume, job-description, and related text may be sent to configured AI providers to generate requested results. Do not submit confidential third-party information you are not authorized to use. Career OS does not permit AI output to invent qualifications or replace your judgment.
Information may be processed by service providers used for hosting, authentication and database services, AI generation, analytics, email, notifications, and payments. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Content you deliberately publish to a public portfolio can be viewed by anyone with the link and may be indexed when you allow indexing. Review contact details and resume-download settings before publishing.
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. We use access controls and database row-level security, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion through the contact page. Some records may be retained where legally required. Product and marketing communication preferences can be adjusted in Settings where available.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Career OS is intended for people old enough to enter a binding agreement in their location and is not directed to children.
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated in the product or by email when appropriate.
